Ecosystem Tanks

This 39-gallon freshwater ecosystem has been running for more than two years. It's home to dozens of microorganisms and zooplankton, including Daphnia and scuds, along with cherry shrimp, snails, and blackworms. The white cloud mountain minnows feed only on the zooplankton in the tank and are never fed from outside it.
