A 17-year-old student from Long Island, NY, with a background in harmful algal bloom research at Stony Brook's Gobler Laboratory. On the side, he enjoys playing the ukulele, speed typing, solving the Rubik's Cube, and painting.

Nico is an Honors/AP track student at John F. Kennedy High School. From July 2025 to September 2026, he was a researcher at the Gobler Laboratory at Stony Brook's School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, where he helped develop and run experiments on harmful algal blooms. He also has three summers of retail experience. In his free time, he plays ukulele, paints, works on his typing speed, and tries to shave a few seconds off his Rubik's Cube solves.
